ChurchWorks Parliamentary Reception

On 21st May, church leaders, partner organisations, Commissioners and MP’s gathered together in the House of Commons to celebrate the work of the local church.ChurchWorks exists to bring together churches and the government to support the vulnerable in our communities. This event was to highlight the amazing work happening at a local level in churches across the country and to show the collective impact and power of the church as a vehicle of hope and transformation.We heard from a range of different churches running projects and programmes based on our three mission areas of Wellbeing & Mental Health, Vulnerable Children and Families and the Cost of Living.Read more about the event on our blog here.
